With Artist, Katie Frey
Inspired by the beauty of the outdoors, Katie Frey paints in the modern impressionist style with vibrant colors, dramatic shadows, and loose brushwork. She paints primarily in acrylic, and her art stretches from the realistic to the abstract including landscapes, florals, and animals. Her textured landscapes are done with a palette knife and many include sand, sea glass, broken shells, and foil. Her most recent works depict the vivid colors of sunsets bleeding and blending together, and the dramatic and ever changing motion of clouds.
